Operation Theatre

We have resolved the bug that previously prevented the saving of decimal numbers as height in pre-Operation Theatre records. Also, we understand the significance of accurate blood pressure monitoring in healthcare. With the latest update, you can accurately save BP with the right hospital standard format without error. This ensures that your patients’ vital signs and measurements are accurately recorded for their medical records.

In addition, we have implemented a new feature that automatically adds surgical procedures to a patient’s medical history. It ensures that whenever a patient undergoes surgery in your hospital, the surgery details are automatically logged into the patient’s timeline and becomes part of their medical history.This inclusion provides a comprehensive overview of their previous/recent medical interventions, allowing you to make well-informed decisions during future treatments.

Finance

To enhance the financial management capabilities of CliniquePlus EMR Software, we have introduced several new features

• Finance Income Categories: With these features, you can now finally categorize other sources of income for your clinic, aside the category of service charges. This can include loans, grants and more. This allows for better tracking of your clinic’s financial performance
• Inflows: Inflows allow the finance team to keep records of every penny that comes into your clinic aside service charges. It keeps a consolidated record of all clinic income, from service rendered or other sources of income conveniently accessible on a single page. All the details at your fingertips, anytime you need it, enabling you to quickly assess the financial health of your clinic.
•  Advanced Data Table Filter/Search: This feature allows you to filter and search data within tables using any available information. This intuitive functionality saves time and improves data retrieval efficiency.
•  Finance Team: Expand your  financial workforce by adding existing roles to perform specific actions. Whether it’s reviewing payment requests, approving them, or initiating payment disbursements. This delegation of responsibilities improves efficiency and ensures smooth financial operations.
• Payment Requests: This is a feature designed to optimize your accounting processes. Staff members can now request payments for goods sold or services rendered, whether for themselves or non-staff individuals. The request can then be approved by authorized personnel, followed by cash disbursement which can be done by the same person or someone different provided they have the privilege. This helps improve accountability and efficiency in managing financial transactions.

Expenses

Embrace effortless hospital expense management  with 

• Approved payments, which can now be added as expenses with a single click.
• Finance admins can directly record expenses without the need for specific requests, ensuring accurate financial tracking.
• Purses: It’s essentially your treasure chest, virtual or physical, where all your money is kept and from where expenses are made.
• Payables: Think of it as your trusty financial planner, keeping tabs on all the commitments your hospital has lined up – be it loans, payroll, you name it. It neatly details out terms of payments, interest, due dates, monthly repayments, and so on. No more late payments or missed due dates!
• Payable repayments: Payables repayments enables finance admins to approve scheduled payments for payables, which can then be disbursed at the cash point. 

All these features make the whole process efficient, enhances accuracy and ensures timely disbursement of funds.

Loans

Loans, as we know, are a critical aspect of hospital finance. They are  planned scheduled commitments your hospital makes to other organizations or individuals.

Our new feature update effortlessly handles your loans, keeping track of essential details like payment duration, interest, monthly due dates, and repayments. Every bit of your loan data, captured and managed seamlessly by the system.

We also have the  ‘Loans Repayments’ functionality which offers a clear view of your scheduled loan payments. As a finance admin, you can easily approve these for disbursement at the cash point. 

Once a loan and its repayment duration is set. The system automatically sets up the repayments dates. On each due date, approved repayments are recorded as payments at the cash point, and you can always view the status of your loans and their repayments.

IPD/OPD Clinic Note

We have made significant improvements to the clinician notes feature. Now, all clinician notes can be conveniently done from a single page, eliminating the need to navigate between multiple pages.

Clinician notes now contain

• Complaints & History: Easily add complaints, medical history, and duration from existing lists or add new ones on the go, offering you maximum flexibility and convenience.
•  Examinations: We’ve enriched the Examinations segment with specialized templates for CNS, Chest, Head & Neck, CVS, Abdomen, External Genitalia, MSS, BACK, and others.These templates provide a standardized approach to examinations, promoting consistency and accuracy in your clinical assessments.
• Diagnosis: Here, you can effortlessly search from pre-existing diagnoses or add new ones instantly, making the process more user-friendly.
• Plan orders: This is a one-stop solution to order lab and imaging investigations. This ensures a quick turnaround, improving your hospital’s efficiency and quality of patient care.

Prescription

For this module, we’ve introduced a game-changing feature that allows you to add team members as ‘Medical Admins. This provides greater flexibility in your operations. Medical Admins can edit consultations made by others, this helps facilitate teamwork and promote collaboration. Remember, a well-coordinated team is key to efficient hospital operations!

Secondly, the ability to view a patient’s previous consultations during current visits offers numerous benefits. It provides clinicians with valuable context, helping them understand the patient’s past health issues and treatments. This feature brings a wealth of information to the clinicians’ fingertips, aiding them in making informed decisions about ongoing patient care.

We’ve also empowered clinicians with the ability to edit consultations made by themselves or those assigned as Medical Admins. This promotes accountability and precision in patient records.

Also, we’ve added a ‘Restrictive Edit’ feature. With this feature, only the clinician who added a consultation can edit it. This safeguard is crucial to maintain the authenticity and accuracy of medical records, ensuring only the most accurate information is used in patient care decisions.

Last but not least,, this update comes with a bug fix that now displays prescription strength and remarks in the pharmacy view page. This improvement ensures that clinicians’ prescriptions provide comprehensive information for the pharmacist, ensure efficient medication dispensing.

HR
In the HR module, we have introduced a valuable new feature for staff management. Now, at the specialty and remuneration tab when registering new staff, you can save the staff’s banking details.  Imagine how much time your HR and accounting teams will save when payroll calculations and reimbursements are processed. It will help simplify the process and ensure it is done swiftly and accurately. The bottom line? It optimizes the payment process, reduces the chances of human error, and saves significant time and effort.
